Have you got favourite nature trails and walks in Warwickshire?

Forestry England conserves and maintains over 1,500 of our nation’s forests for everyone to enjoy.

The organisation looks after over 1,800 miles of walking, running and cycling trails across England, supplying sustainably-sourced timber and caring for the homes of thousands of plants and animals.

Families can walk, cycle, run and picnic in many locations.

Family-friendly nature trails and walks

Activity trails for families

Forestry England runs character-themed activity trails for families to enjoy at points in the year.

Since I’ve had children, these have included The Gruffalo, Superworm and Zog. You can either download an app or buy an activity pack from the visitor centres.

Are dogs allowed on family nature trails and walks?

Before you plan a family day at a Forestry England location, it is worth checking that dogs are allowed. Likewise, you will want to find out what facilities are available and whether they are open.

Take a look at the website before you go.
