One thing that’s guaranteed when it comes to Christmas; it’s expensive.

From buying Christmas presents, filling the cupboards with festive treats, or going to parties, it feels as though money is being spent non-stop.

Every parent reading this will also feel the pressure when children are part of the equation too.

Finding gifts that your kids will love are only part of it.

There are grottos to visit, Christmas family days out, and even enjoying a breakfast with Santa. Whichever you choose, there’s usually a price tag to go with it too.

So imagine our joy when we saw that IKEA is offering FREE Christmas events to it’s customers! And the even better news is that they are available at the Coventry IKEA store.

IKEA Family events

This Christmas, IKEA is offering three events to people with an IKEA Family card:

  • Letter to Santa. Post your letters in the IKEA post box between 21st November – 23rd December and the elves will personally deliver it to Santa. Letters must be received by the 19th December for a letter to be sent.

  • Make your own decorations. Hands-on craft sessions with ideas and inspiration for creating unique festive decorations. Bookable dates available, or drop-in sessions from 2pm-3.30pm on the 30th November, 1st December, 7th December, and 8th December.
  • Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy breakfast, fun arts and crafts, visit Santa and his elves, grab a ‘Santa Selfie’, and receive a free Christmas gift to take home. Breakfasts can be purchased at normal prices in the restaurant until 11am.

You will need to book a place for breakfast with Santa, and although the food will need to be paid for, meeting Santa and the gift your child will receive is free. Places are limited though, so book quickly!

These offers are open to with an IKEA Family card, and can be booked online.
