If you’re a parent, you’ll know that life is always too busy to fit everything in.
In the current climate, that’s an understatement.
Thanks to Covid-19, we’re all juggling home school, jobs, fitness and wellbeing alongside a global pandemic.
Then there are all of the clubs and hobbies, quizzes, and virtual birthday parties which have moved online.
So it’s fair to say that you might be neglecting your own self care time at the moment.
Of course, there’s not much we can do to take some time out.
One way to switch off or expand your mind is to listen to podcasts.
Why podcasts are a parenting win
There’s just not enough time in the day to sit and read the pile of books, but most parents still want to absorb knowledge.
It might be to try to understand an issue better, listen to an expert, or switch off from daily tasks.
This is where podcasts come into their own.
Podcasts are short audio episodes available to listen to, pause, repeat and subscribe to. They come in all shapes and sizes, with everything from comedy, sports, or current affairs, right through to a nostalgic look back to the 90s.
There are loads of educational and informative topics to listen to whilst carrying out other tasks.
So I thought it would be good to pull together some of the best podcasts that I’ve discovered to keep myself sane.
